People in the city of Borazjan in southern Iran shout 'we don't have water'
People in the city of Borazjan in southern Iran poured into the streets on Saturday, protesting the recent severe water shortage crisis.
They began marching and their protests quickly turned against the mullahs’ regime.
Angry protesters were seen chanting “Death to the Dictator,” referring to the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The city’s Friday prayer Imam, known to be Khamenei’s representative and intending to calm the protesters, forced him to flee the city.
The demonstrators were seen chanting:
“Let go of Syria, think about us”
“Our enemy is right here, they lie and say its America”
“Not Gaza. Not Lebanon. My life for Iran.”
“We don’t want an incompetent government”
They were also heard threatening the entire city will revolt if their demands are not met. The Iranian regime is deeply concerned about such protests escalating out of control and turning into another scene similar to Khorramshahr of last week.
