National Council of Resistance of Iran

The targeting of centers and facilities for the production and maintenance of the deadly chemical weapons of the brutal Syrian dictator and the dismantling of the war machine of this regime is an indispensable step to end the Syrian tragedy, which, for seven years, has killed more than 500,000 people among them children , women and The innocent and defenseless people and also displaced half of the Syrian population, and its scope has gone well beyond the borders of this country.
This action, which has been demanded by Syrian people and freedom lovers of this country and other countries in the region, must be completed by expelling the anti-human clerical regime and its Revolutionary Gurards and mercenaries from Syria, Yemen, Iraq and other countries of the region.
Iranian regime is the leading element of survival of Bashar al-Assad and the main source of terrorism and extremism and warmongering in the Middle East and the vast parts of the world.
The policy of appeasement with the ruling religious fascism in Iran has led the regime to unprecedentedly increase its crime against humanity and war crimes without paying any price at all. It is time to put an end to appeasement and neglect against these crimes, which are flagrant violations of internationally recognized rules and standards.

Iranian workers' protests on the anniversary of the power grab by the mullahs

National Council of Resistance of Iran

Speech of Ali Rabiee, Rouhani’s Minister of Labour, in the ceremony of February 12, in Qa'em Shahr, was interrupted by the protest of a retired worker against the regime. The suffering worker interrupted Rabiee’s speech and, addressing him and other regime agents, said: 'We have been working hard for 37 years, we did a revolution, our revolution went to the hands of the unjust, they came using the name of Islam, they gallop under the umbrella of Islam, there is no one to hold them accountable. I get a salary of one million and a five hundred thousand tomans ($300) , with four family members, I buy my own medicines, social security says, it's not our commitment ... The representatives who are gabbling here ... We say no to lip service! ... Every day they give us hollow promises.
The intelligence agents repeatedly tried to silence the worker, but he continued. The henchman Ali Rabiee, who has been the deputy minister of intelligence and among the highest security elements and suppressor of the workers for many years, first tried to silence him with deception, but the poor worker ignored. Rabiei responded shamelessly to this worker who said that he was eating bread and cheese for 37 years, by saying 'What do you think we eat? We eat the same bread and cheese.'
In Rafsanjan, the deprived and unemployed workers scolded the regime with their protests. An elderly worker, shouted at government agents and speakers, and asked: “W did you do for the unemployed?” Another worker said there were 14,000 unemployed people in the city. A group of Revolutionary Guards went to the participants to prevent protesters from approaching the stage. The regime's agents used loud music to prevent hearing and spreading of the protests.

Iran: Repressive plans and collective arrests in Tehran

National Council of Resistance of Iran

Hossein Rahimi, criminal commander of Broader Tehran State Security Force (SSF) announced on January 22 a new suppressive plan called 'Tehran's night security plan' and said, 'There are hundreds of specialized police officers and operational units in this plan.' He added: “Counter-Narcotics Police, Security Police, Prevention Police, ‘Rahvar’ Police, and Support Unit will participate in the plan.” Earlier, the Revolutionary Guards commander had informed of launching Basij district-based patrols.
Subsequently, on January 23 the regime's media reported of the arrest of 120 people under the guise of 'thugs and rabble' in Tehran, and quoting the Tehran police commander, they wrote: 'These plans are performed every night, but it was made public tonight.'
The plan and the release of news and pictures of these repressive measures indicates the falling regime of the Velayat-e faqih’s fear from continuation of the brave uprisings of the Iranian people. Ghazanfari, an IRGC commander, described the uprising and protests as unprecedented in the history of Iran. (Fars News Agency, January 20). “There will be days and years of trouble ahead,' said another regime official fearing the continuation of the uprising. He added, “The story is not over and the protests are serious symptoms. Iran is ... sick. There is a widespread illness that has spread throughout the country ... there is widespread and organized corruption, and ... if instead of managing the crisis, we try to manage skirting the crisis, today’s threats will turn into a Tsunami tomorrow '(Iranian Diplomacy state run website- January 20).
There is no doubt that these repressive plans will not cure the regime. Because the biggest factor in killing, insecurity and desecration of people in Iran and the region is the religious fascism ruling Iran and Khamenei himself.
The determination of the youth of Iran to uproot this corrupt and oppressive regime will bring security and tranquillity to Tehran and cities throughout the country, and will bring peace and tranquillity to the region.

Iran: Continuing Executions, even on the International Human Rights Day

National Council of Resistance of Iran

Last week coinciding with International Human Rights day, the cycle of lashings, torture and executions continued in Iran under the religious fascism, taking more victims.
From December 11 to 14, Iran witnessed 11 executions in the cities of Sari, Kermanshah, Ardebil, Isfahan, Khuy and Shiraz. These included three public hangings. In this period at least 14 inmates of Karaj prison, west of Tehran, were sentenced to death.
On December 11, five prisoners were mass executed in Diesel Abad prison of Kermanshah, and a prisoner was hanged in Sari prison - Northern Iran.
Aimed at raising the atmosphere of fear across the country, the regime publicly hanged two inmates accused of killing Asghar Ghezavati, a member of Iran regime’s police force. These executions were carried out in the city of Isfahan on December 13..
One of the individuals, Abdul-Majeed Hassan Zehi, was hanged without any prior information of the timing of his execution. Two days before his hanging he was suddenly transferred to solitary confinement. This criminal measure sparked anger among the public.
On December 14 an inmate in the city of Khuy was hanged in public. Another inmate was hanged on the same day in the city of Shiraz.
The relentless continuation of ruthless hangings are aimed at intensifying a climate of fear and preventing social unrest. On December 10 Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Yazdi, commander of the so-called Mohammad Rasulollah Division, missioned to maintain security in Tehran, warned of a social earthquake.
Mahmoud Sadeghi, a member of Iran’s parliament, expressed concern of “super challenges” that await this regime.
The Iranian Resistance calls on the entire Iranian populace, especially the youth, to protest these ruthless punishments and express their solidarity with the victims’ families. The international community should hinge its trade and agreements with this regime on the immediate halt of executions and torture.

Iranian Resistance strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Sinai and the killing of hundreds of defenseless worshipers

National Council of Resistance of Iran

The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the anti-Islamic and inhumane terrorist crime in the north of the Sinai Peninsula that has hitherto caused 235 casualties and numerous injuries, offers its deepest condolences to the Egyptian people and the government of Egypt, especially to the families of victims, and prays for speedy recovery for the wounded.
The brutal crime against humanity in the Sinai Peninsula, particularly against the worshipers, once again showed that the criminal terrorism under the banner of Islam, whether Shia or Sunni, not only has nothing to do with Islam, but is in stark contrast to its great teachings.
The Iranian people, who have been suffering terrorism and fundamentalism for four decades, and 120,000 of their children have been executed by the terrorists ruling Iran, feel the suffering of the Egyptian people well and share it.
This anti-human terrorism in its current dimensions has emerged in the aftermath of the rise of religious fascism in Iran in 1979.  For four decades, the Velayat-e faqih state ruling Iran has been practically the capital of export of terrorism and fundamentalism, and encourager, promoter, educator and exporter of terrorism, and all terrorist entities are directly or indirectly linked to this crime center. The regime is exploiting those countries in the region that has close relations with them to develop and spread terrorism and fundamentalism. In order to put an end to this cycle of blood and horror, it must be defeated in its center in Tehran under the rule of the mullahs.

Iran: Hunger striking political prisoners in dire conditions, call for urgent action

National Council of Resistance of Iran

Twenty days have passed since the day when at least 18 political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, launched a hunger strike. Their conditions are reported as very dire. These prisoners began protesting on July 30 following a vicious attack by authorities on the inmates of hall 12 in ward 4. Their personal items and money were stolen, and they were transferred to hall 10 of this ward where they are kept under harsh conditions. These political prisoners are demanding their return to hall 12 and all personal belongings and money returned. The authorities broke the prisoners’ eyeglasses, stole their purchasing cards and used all their credits in the prison store.
These political prisoners, who mostly can barely walk, are suffering from heart, lung, kidney and other illnesses. Many of them are also dealing with chronic headaches and nerve illnesses due to the authorities’ installation of jamming signals in the facility. They are deprived of any medicine. Even the extremely expensive medication purchased by their families outside of the prison are confiscated or stolen by prison authorities.
These hunger striking prisoners are under constant restrictions, threatened to be retransferred to solitary confinement and face other pressures by the authorities. The death row prisoners are also threatened to be executed sooner if they continue their hunger strike.
Dozens of closed circuit cameras and sound surveillance devices have been installed in hall 10 to place even further pressure on these prisoners, have them under 24/7 control and prevent any news about their conditions leaking out of the prison.
Those prisoners suffering from breathing illnesses are seeing their conditions deteriorate during the summer heat due to the lack of air conditioning devices and all windows being sealed with metal plates, preventing any air ventilation.
The lack of hygiene necessities such as soap have led to the spread of skin diseases amongst the prisoners who already lack adequate clothing.
Warning about the lives of these hunger striking political prisoners in Gohardasht and emphasizing the religious fascism ruling Iran is responsible for any damages inflicted to their health, the Iranian Resistance calls upon the international community, especially the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Human Rights Council and the UN Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in Iran to take urgent action regarding their conditions and save their lives.
