Iranian regime’s escaping forward and measures following the defeat of the terrorist plot

Iranian Diplomat held in Germany for Bomb Plot

Following the Grand Gathering of the Iranian Resistance in Paris and the failure of the mullahs' terrorist plot and the arrest of regime’s agents, including a terrorist diplomat, the regime’s Supreme National Security Council held a meeting upon Khamenei’s order and commissioned the relevant bodies such as the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Quds Force, the Revolutionary Guards intelligence, and the state-run media to work to minimize the consequences of this big scandal.
  1. The government apparatuses and authorities were obliged to pin the blame on the PMOI to cover this scandal. This is a well-known trick of escaping forward by which they attempt to portrait the arrest of the terrorists in Belgium and France and the arrest of a terrorist diplomat in Germany as a stage-setting to frame the regime on the verge of Rouhani’s visit to Europe, claiming that the PMOI had trapped that terrorist diplomat.
Following the release of the statement by Belgium Prosecutor and Federal Security Agency, the regime’s foreign minister said: "Just at the time the president's visit to Europe begins, an Iranian operation is disclosed and its “perpetrators” are arrested." He added that he is ready to cooperate with relevant authorities to clarify what is “just a deceptive operation to give a false address."
  1. Mohsen Rezai, the former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the secretary of the regime’s Expediency Council, in order to implement the same directive, made a cock and bull story to promote the two arrested terrorists in Belgium to high-ranking members of the PMOI. He wrote shamelessly that the two "contacted the diplomat and talked about their readiness to cooperate with Iran ..." and that's why "these two people met with our diplomat in a place where a package was exchanged which was recorded by closed-circuit cameras or by the Monafeqin [the term used of the PMOI by the regime]”. “These two members of the Monafeqin made themselves subject to the arrest, and confessed to such a plot led by the Iranian diplomat," said the former stupid commander of IRGC.
  2. The regime’s scenario, which was revealed by the Belgian authorities, clarifies further absurd comments fabricated by the mullahs’ Supreme Security Council. A Belgian police official said: "In Luxembourg, there was a meeting that was under control, and all together (security services from different countries) quickly worked to discover the bomb and arrest Assadi. The regime seems to have hoped that the bombing would be seen as a PMOI’s internal issue, which was a theory that could have been credible, but when we arrested their people during the act, the situation changed. "( BuzzFeed website- July 11, 2018)
  3. At the same time, the Ministry of Intelligence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned some in Europe and the US who support the regime, including those interested in appeasing the regime, to pretend as if some elements in the regime arbitrarily planned for this terrorist crime. Daniel Benjamin, the counterterrorism coordinator at the US Department of State in Obama's administration, who exhausted all his efforts and up to the last minute to prevent implementation of the court’s verdict to delist the PMOI, and whose hysteric hostility towards the PMOI has clear motives, said in this regard that he  can't eliminate the possibility that this could be a rogue operation planned by Iranian security services — or by radical elements within the Iranian security services — aimed at embarrassing the Rouhani government and perhaps even putting them in charge of an embattled Iran.
  4. Extraterritorial units of the Quds Force and the Ministry of Intelligence stations outside the country were once again required to focus on the use and recruitment of indigenous elements in Albania, Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo in order to implement terrorist plans against the PMOI in Albania through them. The radio and TV overseas directorate of the mullahs was also obliged to prepare fake films and reports against the PMOI in these countries in order to set the stage for criminal acts.
  5. The IRGC was mandated to expand the scope of its intelligence and espionage activities for obtaining information from within the PMOI.

Iranian Diaspora demanding the extradition of Tehran’s diplomat terrorist from Germany to Belgium

Iranian Resistance supporters calling for the extradition of Assadollah Assadi from Germany to Belgium for prosecution

Following the foiled Iranian regime’s terror plot targeting the Iranian opposition convention in Paris on June 30th, Iranians living in Europe and North America have launched a campaign demanding German authorities to extradite an apprehended diplomat of the mullahs’ regime to Belgium for prosecution.
Assadollah Assadi, 46, was arrested in eastern Germany and faces charges of plotting a terror attack and the intention to commit murder.

Iranians on Twitter and other social media platforms are also very active using the #ExpelIranDiplomatTerrorists hashtag, calling for all countries to expel the Iranian regime’s so-called diplomats.
A senior U.S. State Department official, on the condition of remaining anonymous, has also recently warned about the nature of Tehran’s diplomatic missions in other countries and advised extreme caution and a very strict evaluation of their background.
Freedom-loving Iranians in France, Germany and Italy have held protest rallies to make their demands heard.

Reuters reported citing German prosecutors saying Assadi, suspected of planning to carry out a bombing targeting the Iranian opposition convention in Paris, can be extradited to Belgium.

German prosecutors on Wednesday accused Assadollah Assadi with activity as a foreign operative and conspiracy to commit murder.
Based in Vienna, Assadi is suspected of hiring an Iranian-Belgian couple in the northeast European country to stage an attack at the annual convention held by the Iranian Diaspora expressing their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its pillar member, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

French authorities have also arrested an individual by the name of Mehrdad Arefani, 55, on charges of being in collaboration with the Iranian-Belgian couple intending to bomb the Free Iran 2018 rally in Paris. Reports indicate he is to be extradited to Belgium.
Alfani's ex-wife has been in contact with an Iranian regime intelligence agent.
The Iranian Resistance has time and again warned about Tehran’s devious and dangerous intentions in Europe and other regions across the globe

US condemns Iran for violating arms embargo on Yemen, says it 'poses serious risks' to peace in the region

France, Germany, and the United Kingdom released a statement with the U.S. condemning Iran for its “non-compliance” after a panel of U.N

The United States issued a joint statement with the other members of the Iran nuclear deal Tuesday condemning the rogue nation for violating an arms embargo on Yemen that presented “serious risks to peace and stability in the region.”
France, Germany, and the United Kingdom released a statement with the U.S. condemning Iran for its “non-compliance” after a panel of U.N. experts found that it failed to “prevent the direct or indirect supply, sale or transfer of Iranian arms and related materiel, including ‘extended-range’ short-range ballistic missiles, military equipment and unmanned aerial vehicle technology that can be considered military equipment, to the then Houthi/Saleh alliance in Yemen.”
The four countries called on Iran to halt all activities immediately that would violate or are “inconsistent with” the 2015 council resolution authorizing the arms embargo.
“It is crucial that Iran does not carry out any action that is inconsistent with or would violate Security Council resolutions, and thereby risk destabilizing the security of the region and increasing the threat of broader conflict,” the statement read.
The public condemnation by the Western powers comes just after intelligence sources confirmed that Iran has built what seems to be another permanent military base outside of Syria’s capital city, despite the U.S.’ calls for Iran to cut off its support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

France and Germany ask Putin to stop Syria attacks, hope for ceasefire

French President Emmanuel Macron and Germanys Chancellor Angela Merkel arrive at a European Union heads of state informal meeting in Brussels, Belgium

- German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron hoped world powers would agree a Syria ceasefire on Friday after they asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to back a corresponding U.N. Security Council resolution.
The two European Union leaders appealed to Putin -- whose military intervention in Syria gave President Bashar al-Assad the upper hand in the seven-year-old conflict -- to stop bombardments of the rebel-held pocket of eastern Ghouta.
Warplanes from Assad’s government forces and their allies pounded the densely populated enclave east of the capital Damascus for a sixth straight day on Friday.
“France and Germany call for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the implementation of a ceasefire to provide civilian support, humanitarian access and medical evacuation, as called for by the UN,” the two governments said.
“France and Germany call on Russia to shoulder its responsibilities in this regard,” they said in a joint statement as Macron and Merkel met other EU leaders for talks in Brussels.
Following the meeting, EU leaders’ chairman, Donald Tusk told reporters: “The Assad regime is brutally attacking innocent men, women and children. Its backers, Russia and Iran, are allowing this to happen.”
He urged them to stop the violence. The EU called for an immediate ceasefire, urgent humanitarian access to and protection of civilians, he said.
Diplomatic sources told Reuters Merkel and Macron - who both said they hoped the ceasefire would be agreed - were also due to call Putin together after the vote in New York, which had been delayed.
Moscow, which has the power to veto U.N. Security Council resolutions, has often in the past blocked texts that would be damaging to Assad. Russia said on Friday it was ready to support the draft resolution, but with caveats.
The EU as a whole has only played a marginal role in the international diplomacy around the conflict in Syria, where the multi-sided war has killed hundreads of thousands and driven millions from their homes.
The bloc is trying to leverage its role as the world’s top aid donor to woo Assad back into the stalled U.N. peace talks, which have achieved little over the years.
The talks are now deadlocked as Damascus, Moscow and their other ally Tehran attempt a final push to re-establish Assad’s rule.

German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution report emphasizes necessity to expel Iran spies from Germany, blacklisting IRGC

National Council of Resistance of Iran

The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution of Germany has published its latest annual report. This text unveiled various activities by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force and the Iranian Embassy in Germany. The main targets pursued by Iran’s secret services are the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), the report adds.
Iran’s nuclear agreement with the West has rendered no changes in this regime’s approach regarding its opposition, the report adds. Quite the opposite, Iran’s spying and intelligence activities aimed at quelling its dissidents have increased.
In 2016 and 2017 a Berlin branch court ruled against two operatives affiliated to the MOIS and IRGC Quds Force, sentencing them the first to 28 months and the latter to 51 months behind bars. Details unveiled regarding the spying operation have raised suspicions of a possible terrorist plot in the making.
The Iranian Resistance calls for the expulsion of MOIS and Quds Force spies and operatives from Germany, including those working currently in Iran’s Embassy and those continuing their activities under the cover of various associations and front companies.
The German government must prevent the use of its soil by the mullahs’ spies and terrorists.
Designating the IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization is an effective move to confront the threats of spying and terrorist measures in Europe, and it is high time that Germany joins such an initiative.
The absence of a firm measure in the face of the Iranian secret service’s activities not only places Iranian dissidents and refugees in danger, but also threatens the very security of Germany.
