Trump and Emmanuel Macron coordinating response to Syria chemical weapons attack

President Trump said Monday he would determine how the U.S. would respond to the “heinous” chemical attack on Syrians within the next two days.

President Trump and President Emmanuel Macron of France spoke Monday to “continue their coordination” for a response to the chemical attacks against civilians in Syria over the weekend, according to the White House.
The announcement from the White House came shortly after Trump said he would determine how the U.S. would respond to the “heinous” chemical attack in the near future.
'We're going to make a decision tonight or shortly thereafter,' Trump said. 'We can't let that happen in our world, especially when we're able to — because of the power of the United States — we're able to stop it.
